We operate under the mandate of Dangote Refinery, our principal, to establish strategic supply partnerships across Africa, with a focus on East Africa and the Southern African Development Community (SADC). Beyond regional markets, we are active players in international oil trading, maintaining strong partnerships with refineries, key agents, and direct access to global energy markets.

GOTE is now formally registered and licensed to trade from Qatar, further expanding the Group’s global operational footprint. This strategic positioning in the Gulf region provides direct access to one of the world’s most competitive hubs for refined petroleum products. With Qatar’s strong refining capacity, advanced export infrastructure, and increasing output of clean fuels, GOTE is well placed to secure favourable trading terms and unlock new supply corridors into Africa, Asia, and Europe. This licensing creates significant opportunities for long-term offtake agreements, refined product optimization, and enhanced market participation across the international energy value chain.
